Cecilia specialises in Family Law and Family Dispute Resolution. She joined Deacons in 2019 for expansion of the Firm’s practice to Family Law. Previously, Cecilia was a general legal practitioner for 24 years during which she has gained extensive and practical experiences in a wide range of complex and high conflict Matrimonial and Family related matters, including Nuptial Agreements, Cross-Border Divorce and Separation, Financial proceedings ancillary to Divorce and Separation, including enforcement of judgments, injunctive relief to preserve assets, proceedings relating to Children (custody and access, relocation, child abuse and abduction, guardianship and wardship) and domestic violence.
Cecilia is an experienced Family Mediator, Family Mediation Supervisor, Trainer and Coach in various Family Mediation Courses. Since 2000, Cecilia has been actively participating in the development and cross-professional collaboration of Hong Kong Family Mediation. Cecilia was regarded as one of those who introduced Parenting Co-ordination to Hong Kong SAR during the evolution of Hong Kong Family Mediation in the 2010’s.
